Many IXOS/Open Text customers understand that the IXOS/Livelink based applications did become business critical in their organization. Expectations on application availability require efficient troubleshooting, well-thought upgrade and migration plans, and a sound knowledge of products' (new) functionality, available fixes/patches and product roadmaps.
X-Center, the IXOS technical expertise centre located in Prague, offer an SLA based solution adapted to customers' support requirements.
The offering, “5-day per year” Managed Services, is intended for Open Text customers who require a broader Support Service that can include the following:
- Yearly IXOS/Livelink environment health check
- Ownership of support tickets and communication with Open Text Support organization
- Number of call off hours for remote or on-site support
- System monitoring
- Technical/Functional guidance
X-Center is well-positioned to offer this Support Service as we can build on long term IXOS/Livelink expertise, we can offer services at lower tariff, and we have a good knowledge of customers' environments:
- Former IXOS/Open Text consultants who most probably installed the IXOS archive solution components
- Open Text sub-contractor for the IXOS-related activities in the Benelux area.
Note that the standard offering is 5day per year Managed Services. Depending on Customer's demands and expectations, the complexity of multiple applications to support, etc. … the content and cost of the package may vary. X-Center Managed Services is not replacing Open Text Customer Support, but is to be considered as an additional service.
